The South West of England Regional Development Agency was established in 1999. Our most important role is to ensure the long-term economic success of the region. Yorkshire Forward supports the expansion and development of business in our region by encouraging public and private investment, and by connecting people to economic opportunity. One NorthEast is the Regional Development Agency (RDA) covering North East England, comprising Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, County Durham and Tees Valley. The Agency promotes the vision for a vibrant, self reliant, ambitious and outward looking North East England together with the benefits of living, working and doing business in the region.

The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is provided by the European Community to provide investment in socially and economically challenged areas of W Europe. Through ERDF, £5 billion has been invested in regenerating over 300 English communities since 1975.

The LDA are the Mayor's agency responsible for driving London's sustainable economic growth. It's our job to ensure that London remains a global success story. To help us deliver this we work with partners from industry, and the public and voluntary sectors.

Design London is a new international centre for design led innovation that combines world class creativity and expertise in design from the Royal College of Art, engineering from Imperial College's Faculty of Engineering and the business of innovation from Imperial College's Tanaka Business School. Design London was established following the Cox Review: Creativity in Business with the aim of stirring together the scientific, engineering, business and creative design communities to enhance business and public sector innovation.
